BALM APPLICATION TIPS:

​

When should I use facial balm? Unlike creams, balms do not contain water and are solid in texture. They absorb best when applied to damp skin, and typically, you would only need about half a pea's worth of balm to moisturize your entire face. Similar to creams, they provide an occlusive, nourishing protective layer to your skin and seal in your skincare for optimal results; a balm would give more intense moisturising than a cream, and depending on needs may also be used on specific areas in need only.

• SENSITIVE SKIN - For sensitive skins we suggest to use our face balm when necessary to nourish and repair the skin.

• SUNBURNT SKIN - We suggest to apply a thicker layer of our balm on freshly cleansed skin as a highly nourishing recovery over-night mask.  

• TRAVELING - Prevent skin dehydration before going on a plane by using the balm as an overnight pre-flight face mask adding a couple of drops of our Royal Africa Face Serum and during the flight we suggest it to use in conjunction with the Bloom Vitamin C Face Serum to keep the skin super hydrated and smooth (avoid the eye area).

• GUA SHA: Excellent adaptogenic skin -repairing balm for gua sha induced inflamed skin or skin in need of extra hydration.

SUGGESTED USE: Warm a small amount of balm between your fingers and apply to the entire face and neck​. For all skin tones and types.​

For ALL Skin types, can be used day or night with your regular skin care routine. Balms are quite concentrated and a little goes a long way!
