Our newly established, purpose-built regional laboratory in India is born out of this exact ethos; strategically positioned to serve Asia and the Middle East by sourcing and processing local ingredients directly at the source. This facility works in perfect alignment with our global production ecosystem, where each facility is chosen to honor and sustain its respective continent. Our Cape Town laboratory continues to preserve and serve the botanical heritage of the African continent, while our facility in Portofino, Italy remains dedicated to formulating and distributing our systems across Europe. By maintaining this hyper-localized infrastructure, we ensure that every bottle is a testament to fresh, carbon-conscious luxury that respects the Earth as much as it respects the skin.

To honor this expansion and bring our botanical science closer to the landscapes that have long shaped wellness, we have established a purpose-built regional laboratory and production facility in India.
India was chosen as the home of our regional operations for a reason. The country holds one of the world’s oldest, most revered plant-based wellness traditions and offers close, untethered access to the pristine botanicals used in our formulas. This facility was born out of our desire to be closer to the land, the growers, and the culture behind every single ingredient we source. Situated near ethical networks of local, family-owned farms, the laboratory grants us direct access to extraordinary regional botanicals, from the grounding ashwagandha and restorative bakuchiol of the subcontinent, and Centella asiatica of South Asia, to schisandra berry, peony root extract, and antioxidant-rich goji berry.

We refuse to treat these sacred indigenous plants as isolated ingredients. Instead, our laboratory works in harmony with a wider, holistic system of botanical knowledge guided by the traditional Chinese medicine Five Elements framework: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The Five Elements are not a thematic choice for us; they directly dictate our actual extraction and infusion methods. Because we strongly believe that each indigenous plant is a source of vibrant nourishment and living skin-food from the land, our framework balances ancestral wisdom with modern precision to keep the true essence of the plant completely intact.
To honor the diverse environments of our new global markets, we are intentionally adapting only select, targeted indigenous ingredients within our core formulas to beautifully harmonize with regional skin needs. By carefully modulating our infusions and botanical blends, we address the specific hydration and environmental barrier requirements of Middle Eastern and Asian climates. This hyper-focused calibration allows us to honor local skin profiles seamlessly without ever altering the foundational soul of our original formulations.
Our local approach extends deeply into community relationships, ensuring our sourcing model remains a living, ethical connection with the land and the people who tend to it. Extraction methods within our laboratory are thoughtfully designed to significantly reduce waste while preserving the absolute strength, purity, and energetic vibration of each compound.
