Baobab Oil

A semi fluid golden yellow oil with a slight nutty scent. The Baobab tree is often referred to as the ‘upside-down tree’. The trees can be between 1000-1500 years old. 

 

Baobab Oil is known for its anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties. It is an emollient, with a soothing, softening and restructuring effect. Baobab oil is a pale yellow oil extracted from the fruit seed of baobab tree. The baobab oil has been known for thousand years with its extensive list of medicinal properties.

 

African societies have been using baobab oil for centuries to cure and prevent common diseases. The baobab oil has been used traditionally to protect African women from the harsh Savannah environment. The Savannah environment is very hot and dry, so the oil was applied to prevent and treat dry skin, nail and hair conditions. 

 

Baobab Oil is known for its anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties. It is an emollient, with soothing, softening and restructuring effect on the skin and hair. The oil improves skin elasticity and skin regeneration and contains up to 35% Omega 6 and 3% Omega 3 essential fatty acids.Natural Vitamin ContentContains vitamins A, D, E and F (up to 38% vitamin F), however, I do not have verification of how much there is of the other vitamins that it contains.
